My Path

For me, yoga is a way to connect with myself, with the source of life within me, to feel good as a woman and in my body, to maintain health and vitality in body and spirit, and to connect with every person with compassion.

ב"ה I am the mother of six children and grandmother to a growing number of grandchildren.

I have been teaching yoga since 2000, working with women and men of different ages and abilities, in groups and private lessons. Over the years, my work has developed a particular focus on women's health and on gentle, restorative yoga adapted to the body and to individual ability.

Women's Health

My work with women follows the different stages of a woman's life — from menstruation, through pregnancy and preparation for birth, to menopause and the later years of life. Special attention is given to the pelvis and pelvic floor, their relationship with breathing, and their role in support and posture.

The practice is not simply a collection of poses. It invites listening: to movement, to breathing, to sensations, and to what is happening within.

Gentle & Restorative Yoga

Over the years I have also gained experience teaching older adults, people with physical limitations, and people returning after injury. In private lessons, the practice can be adapted gradually to the body and the individual situation.

Training & Education

Yoga teacher training at Wingate, and advanced teacher training with Rachel Zolberg.

Women's Yoga studies with Mira Artzi-Padan — 216 hours.

In 2007 I participated in two professional courses with T.K.V. Desikachar in Chennai, India, and received certification to teach yoga.

Training and continuing education in teaching yoga during pregnancy and after birth, as well as a course in “Yoga as a Medical Tool.”

More Along the Professional Path

Alongside yoga, I studied Shiatsu and qualified as a senior Shiatsu therapist, and I also studied holistic nutrition. This knowledge and experience enrich the way I look at the body and at practice.

I continue to learn and deepen my understanding through workshops, continuing education, and personal study.

Getting to Know the Body From Within

One of the ideas that has accompanied my teaching over the years is the search for support from within — through breathing, stabilizing muscles, the pelvic floor, and awareness of movement.

From this comes my belief that yoga can be accessible: you do not need previous experience, and you do not need to fit yourself to the practice. The practice should find a way to adapt to you.

What Students Say

“Thank you for all your support in so many different ways. The world is richer, wiser, calmer with you here.”
